An independent working professional who has
established her dexterity in the field of legal journalism having completed over a decade in English Communications teaching
and training, editing and proofreading, brand marketing. I have done so
without compromising on necessary educational advancements to be in
sync with the current developments in the field.
Associate Editor, India Business Law Journal
As the Associate Editor of the India Business Law Journal, it is my responsibility to ensure that I report on disputes, partner moves at major firms, cover their million and billion dollar deals, highlight the dynamic changes in the field of corporate law and work on editing and proof-reading.
Research Assistant to Dr. Shashi Tharoor
2019 - Present
As a Research Assistant, I help in compiling details, working diligently on the areas of ideating that may have been missed and adding newer angles to the writing when possible. I also help with compiling the bibliography, fact-checking and citations. In my spare time I also help with the cover design by giving inputs to the author.
I have recently worked as a researcher on Ambedkar: A Life with an idea to bring to the table different aspects of the subject Babasaheb Ambedkar in a way that it shed light on the lesser known side of Dr. Ambedkar that would satisfy a wider international audience.
Fellowship Leader, This Day App
October 2022 - November 2023
This Day’s New Fellowship Indian Architecture and its marvels is a departure from the mundane ways of telling history as a long, dry tale of dates, and names peppered with violence, to a short, accessible, innovative, intellectually and visually stimulating way that is appealing to all. As the Fellowship Leader for this program, I am vested with the responsibility to cover the architectural marvels in South India which have been neglected or missed by oversight. I lead a team of 10+ young professionals, students and more.
Editor, Red Penguin Books, USA
As the Editor for Red Penguin Books, USA, my work entails having to work on developmental editing, copy-editing (although I'll be honest I have a lot more fun working on developmental editing!) of Manuscripts of authors from across the world. It's a pleasure and a privilege to be able to contribute so holistically as a writer, an editor and as a team member of the Red Penguin family!
Editor, Thirty to Net Zero, UAE
May 2022- August 2022
As the Editor of Thirty to Net Zero I was vested with the responsibility of writing articles, editing transcripts of interviews I had taken via zoom of Presidents, Vice-Presidents, change-makers and influencers across the globe and who were invested with the idea of creating a sustainable world beginning from the Middle East. My job included having to ensure the quality of the video and the magazine as a whole was not compromised. This brief stint was a huge learning curve. I worked on Editions 7- 15 in this brief tenure.
Trainer, Verbal, TCGlobal (Formerly The Chopras)
August 2017 - April 2022
As the Faculty for IELTS/PTE and TOEFL, I was vested with the responsibility of lesson planning, ensuring portions were completed on time and students were able to give their exams despite tight deadlines. I was privileged to have had the maximum students with a band 8.5/9 on an average with scores of them scoring a 9/9 in each module individually in many cases. Spent some quality years of my life teaching here. That's our whole TC Global Family (Me too!)
